Portmeirion

Portmeirion or ‘Little Italy’ as it’s sometimes referred to, is a short drive from Barmouth.

Built in 1926 by Clough Williams- Ellis this charming village is surrounded by sub tropical gardens and beautiful woods. Many people know Portmeirion for its pottery and as the setting for Patrick McGoohan’s enigmatic television show, The Prisoner.
